Why Blog? What's The Point?  Who Cares? I have asked myself these questions many times.

Most people don't have a clue who I am.  No one of consequence in the big wide world.  In the eyes of the world I am simply a single striving soul fighting against the upside down, uphill battle.

I am not a Sarah Palin, or a Jan Brewer, or a President Reagan type.  I do not draw large crowds of hopeful citizens with messages that tickle their ears. Yes that is right...I said Palin, Brewer, and Reagan.

I do not even honor the Reids, Pelosi's, and Obama's with any such references, because what they offer is not even tickling to the ears.  It is downright insidious and seditious, even treasonous to the Constitution of this country.

But what has Sarah Palin or a Jan Brewer or a President Reagan done lately for you?  Without the media hype what are these people like?  They are just like you and me...with perhaps one major exception.

They did not buy the line that they are persona non gradas to whom no one listens.  Truth be told, if anyone actually sticks to their guns, holding up the righteous values of God, there will be quite a stir made in their communities.

Occasionally one of these strong standing nobodies, stands up once...and then they stand up again...and pretty soon they make a habit of standing up against the evil in this country, in this world.  And before they know it, they are Joe the Plumber on every news station and they have made a household name for themselves because they identified with the heart of the people who seek after righteousness.

I would venture to say that many of them have no idea who and how many they have affected and are affecting.  And it will be sure to say that as their views come more to light...that many will take issue with some of their positions.  A perfect example being Palin endorsing McCain...and other RINO type Republicans who have clearly proven they do not represent the American people.

All this to say...are you perhaps a Palin or Reagan waiting in the wings?  How much did Palin have to give up because of her endorsement of McCain...or perhaps what did she gain is the question to ask?  The media attention opens new opportunities for every overnight fame story to grab the attention and hearts of the people.  Do you have what it takes to step up to the platform?

What a sacrifice this must be to step forward and take the blasting heat of our country's stiffly divided populace.

But did these people become what they are overnight?  Or were they working on their policies for their entire lives...and then someone came along and took notice?

Of course the message and character that gets noticed...matters...alot!  How long must one continue to move forward before their opinion and effort is noticed?  It could be your entire long life spent working the levers of the machine of politics or religion or your industry...and you never get noticed?  Is that the point to get noticed?  Is that why I blog?  Nay!  I say!

When human beings gather together, sharing the faith of one another, and the life view of one another, communication happens.  Communication in itself is a treasure of satisfaction in this life.  To be understood and to understand someone else, sharing your common views, builds a satisfaction that can not be beat.

Humans are built with the need to be needed.  They are built with the need to have others approve of them and their actions.   But more than this...God gave us the intelligence to debate among ourselves those things which have merit or not, based upon the law He has written in our hearts.

As we come closer to the truth, the opinions of others begin to matter less.  And the only thing that matters is that we understand the heart of GOD.  What would God do in this situation?  God proclaims His truth through His word and by holy men moved by the Spirit of God to encourage, exhort, admonish and rebuke His people.

It is a thankless job, to be The Strong Watchman.  I grate on people's nerves because I say the same message over and over again.   I repeat this message to everyone I know...but most whom I know closely, it would seem, are mostly not interested in the message I have.

What's the message?  REPENT!  You who are impudent, disrespecters of GOD.   Do you not know with whom you are dealing?  GOD has the power over your soul and you have the choice within your heart and soul to make a decision for or against GOD.

In the end you will realize what mourning and punishment are meted out to those who receive not the love of the truth.  Is God cruel?  Hardly.  The people's hearts are cruel and dark, and they prefer darkness to cover their blackened conscience to hide it from the prying eyes of the world.

And then their are those who have embraced the darkness...masquerading as messengers of hope and change, and laughing at the gullibility of the people they are deceiving.  Demonizing those who resist them.  Their foolish hearts are darkened as God's Word says, and he sends them strong delusion that they should believe the lie, that they all might be damned who received not the love of the truth.

But Christ died for all men to make available the mystery of salvation which came through the cross.  And the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing.   What can be done?

PRAY.  Pray for your own soul and understanding from God, who is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

LIVE. Live your life daily for the mission God will send you on, upholding righteousness and the values of the Kingdom of God.

This is why I blog.  A place to share, communicate, teach, preach, understand, be understood and identify with the people who are led by the Spirit of God.  I can even identify with those who live in the flesh...because I too fight the flesh just as any other man.

The more people who read my blog...the more people will understand about me and about my relationship with GOD, and how they can have that relationship too.  It always comes down to Jesus in the end.  And you know...Jesus is coming back again...of that there is no doubt.  And the day draws closer.

I desire for the day to come so I can display my heart to the Lord; that I live for Him and love Him.  But I dread that day...because therein will my flesh be crucified.  Better to crucify my flesh now...and live without dread of that great day of the Lord.  For we will be taken out from this world before the wrath of God is unleashed on unbelievers.

The people need to know JESUS.  When you know the King of Kings and Lord or Lords you understand how little this world holds for us, encrusted in sin, which never satisfies.  Filled with death and despair which never relent.  I blog for Jesus Christ, the creator of the universe.
