I may sound delusional here for a little bit.  But I had the thought today that sometime perhaps I might suddenly realize that someone is opening the box that is my life in this world and telling me "Hey, just kidding...you don't have to live in this world anymore.  This is not the real world that you have lived and breathed in for 37 years.  Go ahead come on out...it's ok."

Akin to a very Matrix-like experience where the realization that we are not living in the truth at all...but have been totally deceived as we take in the world around us...and consume the world around us.

But what would that look like?  What would we find upon unplugging from the Matrix?  Would it be frightening like it was in The Matrix..coming to understand that we have been living in the deception...and that we are prisoners in this world?

Or would we awaken to an amazing Revelation of God where peace flows like a river from the throne in the Holy City.  Where God is in control.  And the nations flow unto his presence.

I am not really under the impression that this will happen...I am already living it.  The only problem is we have to live in both worlds at once.  As scripture says..."We are in the world not of the world".

If we have been born again of the Spirit and believe the good news of the truth, which Jesus became flesh to deliver to us in person, then we know that this world is going in a certain direction...which is in the end controlled or allowed to exist in it's current state...by the creator of the universe.

The means  by which we get to this end game are somewhat confusing to our finite minds.  But nonetheless, there is evidence to assert that indeed God exists in the person of Jesus, as well as through the evidences of God (Jesus) touching this world with His message by the foretelling of prophecy which has come true.

It is simply extra dimensional if you think about it in a scientific sense.  We live in a 4 dimensional world that is composed of length, height, width, and time.  For the one who exists outside of this realm in dimensions we can not possibly comprehend, it would be easy to make things happen in our world which would confound the sensibilities of science and intelligent men.

But the only reason these things are confounding to such creatures is that they have left out the very real possibility that God does exist.  But usually they are afraid to take that intellectual leap into faith.  It is only by the power of God's Spirit that a man or woman can understand the things of the Spirit.

Their finite minds and fleshly hearts do not understand faith nor do they understand who God is...in the person of Jesus Christ.  The hardest thing for a godless man to do is admit that there is a God.  Therefore it is by the hearing of the Word of God that people come to the salvation that God offers.

Any man or woman who takes the time to look can see that we live in a supernatural world, whose rules we do not understand.  But then they are indoctrinated by various religions, cults, or lifestyles to believe a certain way.  But how can one know for a certainty that the one TRUE God exists?

God has touched our world from outside of our understandable dimensions to deliver His message of salvation in the person of Jesus Christ, who is God Himself, manifested as the Son of God.

But he also gave us more understandable proofs which we can analyze from a scientific perspective in the mechanism of prophecy.  The prophets continuously spoke the Word of the Lord to nations, generations, and individuals.  It was recorded in the Word of God and in many other places, that these circumstances that we read about in history are authentic and believable simply for the fact that the the circumstances were foretold before they happened.

Now looking back at prophecies that have been fulfilled, such as the restoration of the Jewish people back to their homeland, which happened in 1948, we can see that the Word of God is a bulwark, and sure foundation to stand on concerning future prophecies that have not yet come to pass.

Therefore we see the direction of our world, our nation, our understanding...being pointed towards the necessity for a global society in which we all must somehow get along...with different religions and enemies...etc.  World peace.  This is lining up with God's Word.

It is noted that this would be an ideal and logical direction for all of humanity to go.  The problem is...humanity has this God issue.  Some do not believe in God.   Some believe firmly in different gods.  Some believe in God and choose the darkness instead.  Those religions which are enveloped in darkness, battle against the the truth of God's Word.  They malign and destroy it...as much as they can...and propose their own misguided and inhumane systems of religion which in the end amount to a method for controlling the people.

The human spirit has a freedom that no human authority can tame.  That freedom can be exercised in the most wonderful life giving way...or in the crudest manifestations of death, despair and control.  Without God, it is inevitable that humanity will choose the selfish machinations of control of others...leaving no other option.

With God...there is a glorious battle between light and darkness.  To maintain the truth of God's message to the people that dwell in darkness.  We see a great light as we come out of the Matrix...but just like this world...we see a darkness battling against the light.  The only difference is the darkness always fails in the world where God reigns.   But here...on earth...now...we see a great darkness growing daily, trying to extinguish the light of God in the earth.

Finally, this is why it is essential that we pay attention...watch...be vigilant...that that day does not come upon you as a thief in the night.  We are children of the day and we walk in the light.  We are looking up and expecting the return of Jesus Christ as a conquering King.  He is Lord of Lords.  This world of authorities currently functions because GOD allows them and appoints them for His purposes.

The end game...is YOU...what will YOU choose.  You might lose your life if you choose the light...but you will gain eternal life...outside the Matrix of earth.

Our lives are but a vapor that appeareth for a little while and then vanisheth away.  We have a clear trail, a straight path...but the worries of this world pull us away and bog us down in the mud of darkness.   Choose life.  Watch.  Be vigilant.  Love not your lives unto death...and you will inherit eternal life with God through Christ Jesus our Lord.
