UPDATE March 4th, 2011: Add Iraq to the list of revolts against government.

It would seem that the world indeed has gone crazy.  I personally have gone from a consistent pursuit of knowledge and information to prove that God's Word is coming true as we live today...to a state of being overwhelmed with so much news that I am not sure what to even report anymore.

All of the world's events seem to me to cry out for the return of Christ...as His redemption draws closer.

So the only thing that makes sense is to focus on Christ and His Word...which seems to be getting harder and harder to do.

My friends we are only seeing the very beginning of birth pangs right now...even still.

Jesus says in Matthew 24

6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

We see the beginning of kingdom against kingdom happening in Egypt...and all the revolts and civil unrest now in Bahrain, Tunisia, Yemen, Jordan, Iran, Libya, and perhaps Saudi Arabia is next?

Is prophecy being fulfilled in our day with regard to Egypt?

"The burden against Egypt. Behold, the LORD rides on a swift cloud, And will come into Egypt; The idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, And the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst. “I will set Egyptians against Egyptians; Everyone will fight against his brother, And everyone against his neighbor, City against city, kingdom against kingdom. The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst; I will destroy their counsel, And they will consult the idols and the charmers, The mediums and the sorcerers. Like a swift moving cloud, Isaiah predicts the rapid deterioration of events in Egypt. Civil unrest causes Egyptians to fight against each other. This fighting spreads from household to household and grows into a kingdom war. Probably quoting Isaiah 19:2, Christ warned kingdoms would rise against each other in Matthew 24:7. Unlike nation coming against nation, which alludes to world wars, “kingdom against kingdom” refers to regional conflicts. Christ taught these prophecies would come upon the world like birth pains. Like a woman about to deliver her newborn, these events are foretold to come with increased frequency and intensity each building upon the other."

Now we see gas prices rocketing higher, as unrest moves through many Arab countries that supply a portion of the oil which the USA consumes.

• Obamacare
• Mexican Border Violence
• Cities and States going broke
• Union Demonstrations in Wisconson and elsewhere
• Financial Greed and Crime at all time highs
• Food and Commodities prices are rising
• China bolstering it's course to remove World Reserve Currency Status from the U.S. Dollar
• Silver and Gold prices climbing steadily
• The Federal Reserve printing money like it's going of style
• The general consensus of U.S. citizens in growing towards a mindset of preparation.

I think I can confidently say...we haven't seen anything yet. Lies, lies and more lies.  Main stream media just does not tell us the truth any more.  It reminds me of that scripture Judges 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.

This society we live in is experiencing the final effect of relative morality and the removal of God from our social conscience.  Doing what is right in your own eyes...means nothing...in the context of God's moral law.  When this happens...God will judge the nation.

It is time to start using what little resources you have left...and make some preparations.

All of these things together...constitute a big red arrow...pointing at God's Word...and the future hard times ahead.

The world seems to be a much smaller place these days...and no surprise as Daniel 12:4 says 4But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

We are living in the last days...right up into the birth pangs we go...bear down...the pains and the contractions will keep getting bigger.

And Daniel 12:3 says, 3And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above;^a and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever

I have given up trying to be a cog in the political system...because the system is obviously fixed and controlled by money and those who possess it.  They say "money makes the world go 'round".  I say Jesus holds the world in His hands...and He has a perfect plan for you and I in it.

Now the question is ...what are you preparing for?  What will it look like when social / civil unrest comes to your city...state...country....?

Will you stay in your house full of goods?  Eating the food you stored up?

Will you protest against the government?

Will you take up arms?

Will you flee into the mountains...or some country retreat?

Will you go into captivity?

Is your heart ready to stand for the Lord no matter what?

You better start asking yourself these questions and make some adjustments.

Those who give forethought to their actions end up being the new leaders when chaos consumes their worlds.

Will you lead people to Christ? or to war?  or both?
