Communism.  Is that were we are headed?  Why is communism bad?  

Communism.  A thoughtful and honorable principle of sharing the burdens of life as a communal responsibility.  

Spread the wealth.  Take care of a brother in need.  Right?

Reality check.  Humans suck.  They don't want to take care of one another. 

So the government steps in...and they "want to help" us spread the wealth...right?  It's called Communism.

But you see there is a problem here.  The selfish, greedy, people that make up the human race are not interested in helping one another on a large scale organized level and the government can not MAKE them be interested in doing this kind deed...so what we have left is an honorable principle that is completely incompatible with human nature.

In fact any government forcing itself on the people to make decisions for them, taking their money and requiring forced charity to the lower classes, will by neccessity piss off those from whom the money is taken.  We don't want BIG BROTHER making us pay for what we should be taking care of ourselves.  It is the grace of God that alleviates human suffering through those on the earth who share the love which God has for His creation.  It is a voluntary action which is most fully fulfilled by the heart of the person volunteering their time, money, and resources to the less fortunate.

This is a complicated subject...but the basic principle here is "Government should not be part of providing for the people...instead it should stay out of the way."  Government can not eliminate human suffering.  Human suffering has it's purpose in the life of every individual.  Eliminating this reality for a human being, eliminates and confiscates their God-given capacity to overcome difficult circumstances by the power of God.  It also eliminates the natural or in some cases supernatural working of God in the life of an individual when they know if they can just get to their next Social Security check or FoodStamps Balance...that all will be OK.  It eliminates our need to rely on God.  It eliminates our need to pray for God's help.  It eliminates the need for those who have the ability and resources to listen to God and take a step to help a struggling brother or sister.  It isolates us all from relying on one another and from holding each other accountable to work unto the Lord, and provide and share with one another as needed.

Human suffering is the result of the curse of sin.  Whether or not you think it is fair, this is the truth.  Human suffering has it's purpose in every life.  We may not have made the initial choice like Eve and Adam did in the garden to turn away from God, but we are the inheritors of their consequences.  And those consequences were massive!

The consequences of sin were so massive that God had to find a way to deal with it.  

In fact God knew (foreknowledge) that this whole mess would happen and He had a plan ready to go into action.   One might try to judge God for His "cold-hearted" insistence on going through with the plan even though He knew in advance that millions...or billions...would choose to rebel against His will for them.  But this is precisely the point that needed to be made.  

For what reason would God make a bunch of people whom He knew would choose to dwell forever in eternal pain and hellfire separated from God and life?  

The answer is the hardest answer you will ever learn.  

God did this for the good pleasure of His will.  

Yes that's right.  The GOOD PLEASURE OF HIS WILL!  Can you believe it? 

The AUDACITY of ALMIGHTY GOD to do what ever HE WANTS TO DO!  

WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS ANYWAY?  RIGHT?  right?

Well let's just say compared to GOD and HIS UNIVERSE.  You are smaller than a speck of dust.  

The truth is that YOU do not have any say or even a right to say what GOD should do with HIS Creation.

The sooner you realize this the better off you will be.

On the other hand, GOD is loving.  Because the other part of HIS PLAN is a way of REDEMPTION through CHRIST.

We would not even understand the need for REDEMPTION if GOD had not planned to allow the fall of man.

We would also not understand MERCY, GRACE, FORGIVENESS, HEALING, LOVE, JUSTICE, and so much more.

GOD's plan was not just for the pleasure of HIS GOOD WILL although if it was that would be enough, because He has the authority to do whatever He wants.  But HIS plan also reveals to those who love HIM that HE has made a way of redemption.  All we really need to do is acknowledge that GOD is GOD.  If continue to rebel against GOD...it is our choice to REBEL.  But GOD is not obligated in such a circumstance to make an exception for you.  

You THE SINNER, can not have it both ways...you can not say you hate GOD and that you want to be FAR FROM HIM while expecting GOD to SAVE YOUR ETERNAL SOUL.  It is YOUR CHOICE in the end which will determine where you spend eternity.

So back to the question at hand.  The question of COMMUNISM...it seems kind of small now compared to GOD right?  Well that is because it is small.  If we begin to understand human nature and the curse of sin, we can realize that this GOVERNMENT INTRUSION into our lives is merely the echo of the GOD of humanity, in whose image we were created, trying to form for itself a just system that loves the poor, and provides for the weak in our society.  

While it is not the government's business to do such a thing...it is also conversely and absolutely the responsibility of every human being to take care of his neighbor.  Love your neighbor as yourself.  Love the Lord your GOD with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.  If these simple commandments were followed then there would be no need for a government led by the people....to try to impose upon it's constituents a moral requirement (taking the form of monetary requirement) to provide for the poor and the weak in our society.

The real problem here is that left to ourselves and our sin nature we will never NEVER be able to fix this problem.  The only leader worthy of following is Jesus Christ Himself.  The Creator of Life and the Universe.  He is coming again and He will rule the nations with a rod of iron.   Then their will be order, and provision.  

Are you ready?  We will be tested and tried for our faith in the years near to come.  Are you ready?  Physically.  Spiritually.  Emotionally.  Mentally.  

Will you fight and die for American Freedom?  Or will you fight and die for your unalienable rights which have been given to you be God?  Or will you submit and go into captivity for the cause of Christ, that you might preach the hope of the GOSPEL to those in dark and desperate need?

Are you ready?  The time is coming.  It's even at the door.
