Christian World View Supports The Evidence of a World Gone Crazy

It's true.  Every day we more crazy news that tells us that God's Word is totally correct in it's prophetic assessment of the future.

We are watching the nations rage.

Isaiah 17:12

Oh, the raging of many nations--they rage like the raging sea! Oh, the uproar of the peoples--they roar like the roaring of great waters!

Acts 4:25-26

25You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David:

“‘Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?

26The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against his Anointed One.^c’^d

The world has gone crazy as they shun the knowledge of God and the peaceable fruits of righteousness.  

Right now the stage is being set for the last days.  Some would argue that we are in the last days already.  I would say that if we are in the last days then the period of time we are in right now is "birth pangs".  But these birth pangs are going to get worse and worse.  

So how does that affect our day to day living.  In America we are seeing the decline of our economy by leaps and bounds...but should we despair?  No!  We should be doing our best to make due with what God has provided.  We should be leaning on the Lord for wisdom, direction and provision.  We should be using the God-given talents with which He has endowed each of us to work hard and smart to provide for our families.  

Life can be like a cruel pendulum, swinging from euphoria to despair as our circumstances change.  We are creatures that like stability and comfort.  Well I have news for you.  Unless your stability and comfort come from the Lord God Almighty...you will be tossed around like tiny boat in the tempest of your emotions.  

If you lost everything tomorrow would you praise Him?  What does "everything" mean to you?  Are you leaning to heavy on money and possessions to justify your happiness?  There is nothing wrong with being rich as God is the provider of all things.  But when you forget God...rich or poor you are lost and flailing for survival in a dark world.  Look for the light of Jesus, who brings peace and comfort through His Holy Spirit.  Follow the peace that He brings to your soul and you will never be dissapointed in the way things turn out because you know that Jesus is your Lord, Savious and King.
