This is an article/email from a user on The Strong Watchman site.  I think this fits nicely with the scripture from Joel.  This man is sharing the dreams he is having that are touching his life.  God is pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh in the last days.

Joel:2:28-29

28“And afterward,

I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

your old men will dream dreams,

your young men will see visions.

29Even on my servants, both men and women,

I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

As usual, those of us who have dreams may have some difficulty in displaying to the rest of the world what we have seen and how it has spoken to us.  I give Tim props for stepping out on a limb to share what God is doing in his life.

The Strong Watchman

Hi guys,

Early this morning I had one of the dreams.  I knew it meant something at the time because of the sheer strength and incredible detail of it.  Much of my life I rarely remember my dreams.  I even got up about 6:30 and went over it with Nicolle, and even posted something on Facebook, asking someone with dream interpretation experience to private message me.  No one responded so I went back to sleep.

The dream was several parts, which is why I didn't thoroughly detail it on my FB page, but I did mention something about putting it up on my blog later.  I recognized it as that important.  So I made my FB post, then went back to sleep.  Before I was even asleep well, I had another dream that had the very strong feeling of being placed in my head.

It was very short.  I was putting a tourniquet on someone's leg using dollar bills.  This was probably 7AM-ish.

Today the Dow Jones dropped 512 points.  London closed down 3.5 percent.  Japan had to "intervene" to stabilize the Yen.  I didn't know any of this was happening until the afternoon, when I got online.

Greg, feel free to put this email up on your website.  Use it to help the world understand the dangers of things to come.  And for anyone having trouble believing supernatural things are happening to and around me and my wife, they can look at this:  http://stupidwhispers.blogspot.com/2011/07/visual-proof.html.  This appeared in the ceiling above Nicolle's head, in response to prayer to God to give her something to restore her faith.  That manifestation was the result.  And it worked.

The lesson here is this:  God does hear and answer prayers.  Maybe what I've written here will help convince the unbelieving that God is in fact in control of the affairs of men.  Turn to the Lord and maybe he will relent.  What I've paraphrased here is actually clearly stated in scripture.. Joel 2: 10-15.

God Bless,

Tim

  • A Sense Of History

As my wife and I toured the British Museum, we were struck by the history and legacy contained in that massive facility in London. We looked at artifacts that were centuries older than anything found in the United States, reminding me how valuable it is to have a sense of...

  • Not What I Planned

This isn’t the way I expected my life to be. I wanted to marry at 19, have a half-dozen children, and settle into life as a wife and mother. But instead I went to work, married in my forties, and never had children. For a number of years I was...

  • A Place For You

A couple who brought their elderly aunt to live with them were concerned that she would not feel at home. So they transformed a room in their house into an exact replica of her bedroom at the home she left behind. When their aunt arrived, her furniture, wall hangings, and...

  • Courageous Conversation

Is it possible that technological advances in communication have left us unable to confront people properly? After all, employers can now send layoff notices via e-mail. And people can criticize others on Facebook and Twitter instead of talking face to face. Perhaps it might be better to put all that...

  • Seeing Near And Far

Having two healthy eyes is not enough to see clearly. I know this from experience. After a series of eye surgeries for a torn retina, both eyes could see well but they refused to cooperate with each other. One eye saw things far away and the other saw things close...

  • The Old Windmill

A man who grew up on a ranch in West Texas tells about a rickety, old windmill that stood alongside his family’s barn and pumped water to their place. It was the only source of water for miles.

  • A Woman Of Influence

During the early years of the Prot- estant Reformation in Europe, Katharina Von Bora, a former nun, married Martin Luther (1525). By all accounts, the two had a joyous married life. Luther said, “There is no bond on earth so sweet, nor any separation so bitter, as that which occurs...

  • Outside The Boat

Katsushika Hokusai was one of the most prolific and celebrated artists in Japanese history. Between 1826 and 1833, when he was in his mid-60s and early 70s, he created his greatest work—a series of color woodblock prints titled Thirty-Six Views of Mt. Fuji. Among those paintings was his masterpiece: The...

  • A Sense Of Concern

Statistics are tricky. While numbers give us information, sometimes they can also desensitize us to the people those numbers represent. This hit me recently as I read a statistic: Every year 15 million people die from hunger. That’s chilling, and for those of us who live in cultures of plenty,...

Mark messed up. He arrived an hour late at a restaurant where he was to meet a friend from church. The friend had already left. Feeling sorry about his mistake, Mark purchased a gift certificate from the restaurant and stopped at a local card shop to search for an apology...
