Please see the attached article (HERE) from ABC regarding the Rhode Island school district who fired all 74 of their High School teachers, basically for failure to launch. In my opinion - this is the first of many firings to come that is a long and over due event, for MANY school districts and the unions that perpetuate the mess which have become our American Public Education System.

For too long now our school districts - compliments of your "friendly" neighborhood NEA & AFT (National Educators Association and American Federation of Teachers) unions - have been left unchecked. And not only has the leadership in these two major unions (in cahoots with, not all, but many superintendents across the nation) even hung their own (forced) union paying members/teachers and staff members out to dry in some cases; but they've seriously dropped the ball with their students and the parents (by demanding more pay and benefits when test scores didn't correlate). I'm glad to say, it looks like the jig is up for these folks in Rhode Island - which I pray is a trend that heads promptly south and then west hereafter.

(IMHO/my two cents = I just have a really good feeling that, not only are these "educational' type unions - who claim to be for the children, but who really are all about controlling gov't funding - about to be completely exposed for what they are and what they have done, but I believe the facade that covers ALL labor unions in this country is about to be cracked wide open). Then maybe, the great teachers who DO get involved for the right reasons; and who do the right things - will be able to do their jobs; along side every other American who just wants to be left alone, to go to work, support their families, and live life as it was intended to be lived - minus the Chicago Union Thugs intimidation and extortion.
