So I feel like I have written about everything that matters.  It is not the end, but perhaps a lull in content worth writing about.  You can either be one of the first to break a story..or share it...or you can be one more article with yet another view on the most current news at hand.

I don't really feel like riding the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) train...with all their big news about naked body scanners or invasive pat downs that involve touching your genitals.  Who wants to hear more about that?  As Mark Stein said today in for Rush Limbaugh..."This is the end of the American Republic if we let this invasive action continue against 300 million Americans...it ends not with a bang, but with a whimper."

How sad is this?  One woman says she was assaulted because the TSA employee did not tell her that her private parts were about to be touched...while being "patted down".

I heard it said by someone else...in defense of these new security procedures that "the times have changed" so we need to keep up with the times or face the consequences of not doing so.  I think I knew this day was coming eventually...but it seems strange that it kind of just rolled in the door recently.  There was word of the nude body scanners months ago...maybe close to a year ago when i first heard it. Now it seems a fairly normal affair for millions to pass though the scanners.

I would rather blow up on the plane with terrorists...or trying to stop them from blowing up the plane...than see our basic freedoms torn away by the fear of fear.  What a bunch of cowards we have become.  It makes me sick.
