Are We Living In The Last Days?

Those of you who regularly read my blog posts...know that I am not a Pre-Tribber when it comes to the Rapture.  I am going to go ahead and be real big here...and point you to a resource that does define itself as Pre-Trib.  It's kind of a neat flash site anyways.  For those of you who believe in a "pre-trib" rapture as it's defined in this website's context, you will be really happy to see what this webmaster has done.  

I however...totally disagree with the timeline of a Pre-Trib rapture for several reasons.  The primary reason I disagree is that, no where in scripture does it tell us that the entire seven year period is the "tribulation".  This is the biggest false teaching about the timeline of the rapture and the biggest problem with "pre-trib" rapture theory.  

Additionally there is a problem with "pre-trib" rapture as defined in "before the seven years" because there are saints being persecuted during the reign of antichrist.  In fact, the focus of antichrist is on "wearing down the saints of the Most High".  No where in scripture does it talk about two groups of saints..."pre-trib saints" and "post-trib saints".  It simply is not true.  Why not take the Bible for what it says?

Believe me...I wish Pre-trib was true...and that the saints did not have to endure persecution at the hands of antichrist.  But I would rather prepare for what scripture says then be dreadfully surprised when antichrist starts persecuting the saints...including me.

General Timeline of The Last Seven Years...where does Ezekiel 38 fit?

1. 1.Wars and rumors of wars.
2. 2.A false peace treaty seven years signed by antichrist.
3. 3.Possible wars…similar to today as nations continue to shift in power.
4. 4.Antichrist subdues three kings/empires/nations from the original 10 horns (kings)
5. 5.Midpoint, antichrist has gained full control of the nations and kings to accomplish The desolation of Jerusalem.  Gog and Magog
6. 6.Tribulation and persecution begin against Jews and Christians.
7. 7.Massive slaughter of the Jews in Judea and Jerusalem.
8. 8.God protects a remnant of Jews in the wilderness.
9. 9.Antichrist turns his attention to Christians…to persecute them and wear out the saints of the most high.
10. 10.Tribulation is cut short for the elect’s sake (the saints) else no flesh would be saved.
11. 11.Jesus Return begins with the rapture of the saints
12. 12.Jesus wrath begins in the midst of this tribulation after the saints are gone.
13. 13.God’s Wrath continues with the trumpets through to the end of the seven years.
14. 14.The final wrath of God takes place in the 30 days following the close of seven
15. 15.Armegeddon…the culmination of evil against God.  Jesus return and destruction of evil.
16. 16.The Judgment begins at the end of the 30 day final wrath.
17. 17.The Restoration begins at 45 days after the 30 days.
18. 18.God sets up his Kingdom on earth and the saints rule and reign with Him 1000 years.
19. 19.After 1000 years….Satan is loosed for a little while and he gathers the nations together to make war against God in heaven.
20. 20.Fire from heaven consumes the armies of evil.

This is a general skeleton of chronological events…as scripture lays them out.  Hope it helps you understand explicitly for what we ought to be looking as world events continue to careen out of control.  Birth pains.  Look for the signs.  Study the scriptures to see if these things are so.
