So it was a sharp and expected response from a poised and adamant Netenyahu.   The answer is no to Pre-1967 borders.   The answer is no to dealing with the Palestinian Refugees.  But Netanyahu did say Israel is willing to make big concessions for peace, just not the kind that President Obama is looking to implement.  I think this is another step in the endless campaign to move the drive for peace into an international arena.  

It may not seem like much now because the United States is making the major push.  But what happens when other nations begin to get involved and international pressure is once again put on Israel to bend to the demands of the world.  It's my personal opinion that based on scripture Israel will hold onto it's sovereignty and a great deal of its land until there comes a major push from the Islamic nations that surround Israel.

This push to take out Israel is laid out in detail in Ezekiel 38.  But we also know from the words of Jesus in Luke 21...that Israel will be judged by the armies of antichrist in the last days.  It is the days of punishment for the people of Israel still rejecting God.  It has been a long time since we had any really solid fulfillment of prophecy.  But not that long ago...just a few decades ago, Israel becoming a nation in 1948 was another fulfillment of prophecy...and a really big one too!  The rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948 set the stage for the last days puzzle pieces to start falling into place.  

For nearly 2000 years Israel had no land or country to call their own and they were dispersed throughout the world.  This was also a fulfillment of prophecy.\ that set the stage for centuries, which makes the rebirth of Israel all the more dramatic in the scheme of world history.

So when Jesus talks about the time of punishment for Israel, we know that this is in accordance with the "abomination of desolation" which Jesus speaks about in Matthew 24 and for which Daniel 9 lays the foundation in prophetic scripture.  We also know that antichrist is the one responsible and he will be coordinating the attacks which desolate Israel in the time of the end.

It is extremely important when reading prophetic scripture to remember the plan is all about the people Israel and the holy city Jerusalem.  The prophecies of scripture all point to the Day of the Lord when Jesus comes back as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to set up His kingdom in Jerusalem and rule the the nations with a rod of iron. 

So the antichrist will rule for 3.5 years.  It is appointed that the antichrist will have authority, will desolate Jerusalem as it is trampled under foot by the gentiles for 42 months (3.5 years), and to desolate the (as of yet) unbuilt Jewish temple.   The point here is...trying to identify when the serious attack will occur against Israel by all the surrounding nations.   It is also no coincidence that the nations mentioned in the Ezkiel 38 Gog/Magog invasion are all Islamic.  

So how does Islam fit into the last days and the armies of the antichrist.  Well we can tell by the very nature of Islam...which is anti Jesus Christ that it is part of the movement against God's people and against Christ.  Despite this obvious observation the connection has to be subtle.   And what could be more subtle than the politics of international humanitarian peace.

All those who are considered extreme, and intolerant of such an "obvious need for peace" will be considered dissenters which must be dealt with by the international force by peace.

Political plans for peace and prosperity never take into account the "obvious" point of conflicting religious beliefs about God.  Who is right and who is wrong?  The simple truth is that the earthly godless politicians of godless nations are not qualified to answer the question of who God is, so they have to settle for the lowest comon denominator.  They insist that humanity must solve the problems of of war and poverty with a grand plan for peace.

Its a noble thought unto itself that humanity desires peace.  But humanity is not the highest form of life in the universe.  Humanity is not the creator.  The creator God laid out His plan for how He would introduce His authority to the world of men.  The world started with and by God's authority and it will end in the same way...and it will continue eternally by His authority and power as well.  

Humanity taking control of its destiny in the flesh is JUST LIKE Babylonians under Nimrod building the Tower of Babel as a testimony unto the determination of huanity to praise itself and deny the creator of heaven and earth.  It simply will not be tolerated by a Holy God of Truth.  In the end it will not just be Islam against Christianity and Judaism.  

Rather those elements of our society who are using finance to control international economics and decide the fates of nations and peoples are the ones who will ultimately engineer the global new world order, the international takeover of Jerusalem, the attack against Jerusalem, the mark of the beast, the control of buying and selling, the persecution of christians and Jews and all those who refuse to give allegiance to the terrible global empire that will rule for 3.5 years.  

Thank God that this will only last for 3.5 years.  The good news is ...we will only see part of this rule of antichrist and his persecution...because the persecution which begins just after the desolation of the temple, will be cut short by the return of Christ for his redeemed.  But the appointed time of 3.5 years will not be cut short for the reign of antichrist.  Unfortunately for antichrist as soon as the saints of God are removed... the wrath of God begins to come down on unbelievers for the remainder of the 3.5 years...however long that might be.  

Many people don't even consider what scripture and prophecy say about the coming times and the return of Jesus Christ.  They count it as a story...something which does not apply to real life.  

My friends this is as real as it gets.  We ar talking about the God of Eternity showing up to straighten out the huge mess we have made of the planet and ourselves.  I can't wait for the day and it's coming soon.  

But the next thing we are waiting for is the confirmation of a covenant with the many as spoken of in Daniel 9.  This would well be the U.N. Resolution 181 plan which creates two independent states (Jewish and Palestinian) and implements control of Jerusalem under international enforcement.  You know that the day we see a 7 year covenant signed with the many (probably the nations of the U.N.) for the "peace" of Israel and the Middle East....that we have entered the final 7 years of history. 

I am not proclaiming the end of the world on any specific date...but God gave us the scriptures we need to understand the times so that we as believers are not overtaken and surprised as if by a thief in the middle of the night.  It is only those who are not paying attention to the truth of God's Word that will be taken by surprise.  God bless as you seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
